# Omniverse Compute

> Decentralized GPU compute network (DePIN) on BNB Chain. Fixed supply 1,000,000,000 OMC, no inflation parameter, public testnet, TGE 1 January 2027.

## Airdrop — the facts, in the order people ask for them

- What: OMC Community Airdrop, 20,000,000 OMC, which is 2% of the fixed 1,000,000,000 maximum supply.
- How it is split: 1,000,000 slots of 20 OMC each. First come, first served. No lottery, no snapshot, no allowlist.
- How to register: three free social tasks — follow https://x.com/Omniverse_Depin, retweet and comment on the pinned post, join https://t.me/OmniverseCompute. One wallet per participant.
- Is it free: yes. The airdrop is free. The 20 OMC per entry is given for completing three free social actions, registering costs nothing, and no token is sold — there is no presale, no private round, and nothing to buy at registration.
- Claim processing fee: claiming carries a flat 0.01 BNB per entry, paid inside the claim transaction and not refunded — 0.05 BNB for a five-entry base claim, 0.1 BNB for a capped ten-entry claim. It is a processing charge for the transaction, in the way the network charges gas: it is not a price for OMC, not a percentage of anything, and not indexed to the OMC price. It funds development (60%) and team operations (40%).
- Delivery: 100% at claim. An entry is 20 OMC and delivers 20 OMC in the claim transaction. There is no cliff and no vesting tail on the airdrop. The lock-ups sit on the investor allocations instead: private 10% at TGE then 18 months, institutional 5% at TGE then 24 months, ecosystem 5% at TGE then 36 months, team 12-month cliff then zero.
- Caps: 5 base entries plus up to 5 referral entries per wallet, so 10 entries or 200 OMC maximum. One entry per calendar day.
- Timing: registration is open now. The claim window is 2027-01-01 to 2027-03-31. No OMC token exists before TGE — there is no mainnet contract to interact with yet, and any address claiming otherwise is a scam.

## Protocol facts

- Protocol fee: 8% of settled job volume, charged to the requester — 50% burned, 30% to staked nodes, 20% to the treasury. Paying in OMC takes 10% off the fee.
- Emission: 400,000,000 OMC scheduled over ten years from 2027, gated by trailing 30-day fee revenue so issuance tracks real usage. A further 100,000,000 is a DAO reserve that cannot be minted before 2037 and requires a governance vote.
- Circulating supply at TGE: 65,500,000 OMC, 6.55% of the maximum supply.
- Settlement: BNB Chain. A dedicated L2 for task scheduling is planned and not deployed; today the testnet contracts run directly on BNB Chain.
- Repository: https://github.com/CBTdao/omc-network, MIT licensed. Contract parameters live in contracts/params.json, the single source of truth that every page and every test reads from.
- Not yet done, and stated as such: no mainnet deployment, no token contract, no audit, no exchange listing, no compute revenue. The testnet is a testnet.
