Phase 1 — Testnet is Live

Run a Node.
Shape the Grid.

The OMC public testnet is the proving ground for the compute grid. Connect your GPU, execute verification tasks, earn testnet rewards — and secure your position before mainnet.

Run a Testnet Node in 4 Steps

Consumer GPUs are enough for the testnet — RTX 3090 / 4090 recommended for full-tier tasks.

1️⃣

Get Test OMC

Request tOMC from the faucet — covers gas and your testnet staking deposit.

Faucet
2️⃣

Install Client

Pull the open-source node client: docker compose up on any CUDA / ROCm machine.

Docker / K8s
3️⃣

Stake & Register

Stake tOMC proportional to your hardware tier and register your node heartbeat.

Staking_Min = Deposit × Tier
4️⃣

Execute & Earn

Receive matched tasks, execute in sandbox, pass dual verification — and collect rewards.

Earn tOMC
Verification reminder. Every output is checked by redundant execution (2–3 nodes) and zk-SNARKs sampling. Fraudulent outputs, timeouts and fake heartbeats are slashed — 50% to requesters, 30% to the DAO treasury, 20% permanently burned.
FAQ

Testnet Questions

Do testnet rewards convert to mainnet OMC?

Testnet tOMC has no value. However, compute contributions and reputation scores accumulated on the testnet are tracked for the Compute Mining & Node Rewards pool (50% of supply) at mainnet launch.

What hardware do I need?

Any CUDA or ROCm GPU works on the testnet. Score weighting favors TFLOPS and VRAM — RTX 3090/4090 class cards land in the top hardware tiers, and NVLink-connected rigs get priority for multi-GPU jobs.

Is my data private?

Task execution happens in isolated Docker/Kubernetes sandboxes. zk-SNARKs sampled verification proves execution integrity on-chain without exposing your data.
